This is at best, mildly irritating, at worst, disrespectful. I'm not yet annoyed enough to write to Customer Services about this, but really, I shouldn't have to - using the customer's preferred title to address them is a very basic element of half-decent customer service.

Those with non-standard titles (there must be a fair few Drs, Profs, Revs, and Duchesses among FTers ), what's been your experience?
