Interlining FROM KE to DL?

Hello,

I'm going to fly CGK-ICN-JFK in a few months using an award ticket in F, but my real destination is BOS. The reason I booked only to JFK is because otherwise I'd have to pay a SkyTeam redemption rate (instead of KE redemption rate) which is much worse.

I was planning to buy a DL flight or a Jetblue flight from JFK-BOS. Does anyone know if KE would interline the luggage in this case? I know DL stops interlining TO Korean a while back, but interlining agreement is not a symmetric relationship, so who knows KE might still agree to interline to either DL or Jetblue.

I actually don't mind taking the bags out and rechecking them back in, since I'd have to do that for customs anyway. The main issue here is cost. Since I'd be flying KE F, I'll get 3x70 lbs of luggage. If they're not interlined, then I'd have to pay a ridiculous amount of fees to DL. If interlining is not possible, I think I'd have to choose one of three options:

1. Swallow the fees, but soften it somewhat by buying a first class ticket from JFK to BOS so that I get 2x50 free. I have a decent amount of mileage with DL, and also a DL Amex. I don't know if the free luggage bonus stacks with the first class bonus.

2. Buy something else entirely, say AA or US Airways. I have a lot of Avios, and JFK-BOS is really cheap even on first class when paid with Avios. Similar to #1 above, I'd still have to pay fees though. I have AA exec plat with citi and us airways with barclays, so I get one free bag with either of them. Again, I don't know if the free baggage bonus would stack.

3. Pack less in general. This is not a bad idea since I don't think I need all 70x3 space to begin with. But I just want to know what the fees are going to be like when it's, say, 70x2, or 50x3, or 70x2+50, etc.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
