NRT-SFO-MRY

The NRT-SFO leg ended up being 45 min late the plane coming in where showing 1:25 and 4:00 delays down the line.
Landed in SFO and with GE I could have made the flight to MRY but by the time my bag came out of the chute I got to the connection drop at 12:40 for the 12:55 scheduled (left at 1:10) flight so they rejected the bag. They protected me on my way across the pacific on the 10pm flight. I asked them to cancel that and I would just rent a car and drive down to MRY.

Emailed 1K and they are sending me a refund for the SFO-MRY leg and then making up the difference between that and the cost of the rental car.
