On band 4 CE flight this morning I was treated to 'Scrambled eggs with spinach stuffed tomato, potatoes and sauteed mushrooms'.
In a drive to be a bit healthier (although, in reality I doubt there is that much difference between the veggie option and the full english..) I chose this option, despite usually avoiding scrambled eggs when out at all costs.
I'm not sure how much egg was actually part of the scrambled mixture, however, the not so eggy substance had a slight note of milky sweetness, having obviously been watered down to a ridiculous degree. The 'Scrambled egg' also had a thin layer of skin covering it, hiding the watery texture underneath. Truly vile.
I've noticed that most hotels (however expensive..) can't get scrambled eggs right, so why on earth BA think it's a good idea to try and replicate at 35,000 I don't know...
