Here to second this. There is no such thing as an "Uber car". The cars you hire with Uber are privately owned/operated cars (operated by a licensed car hire company for Uber or by an individual for UberX). Uber is simply an app that these drivers use to connect with riders, process payments, etc. So it is highly unlikely that Uber has anything to do with this... DL probably has a deal with the car owner.
