WMT super center is classified as grocery store by the Citi HHonors.
All Targets have a grocery section. The non-super center Targets just sell their fruits by piece instead of by weight, but they have rows of freezers and aisles of groceries not much less than the super center.
Why dont you just try a smallish purchase to see for yourself if you are so concerned?
