this post makes sense. if one's CL is clipped, any attempt to charge on their card will be rejected. I'm not sure which is worse for most ~ clipping your CL or being subjected to FR. I think the latter would be welcomed by those who did not lie in their applications.
I got my CL clipped 3 months after my FR. It's not terrible, just means I overpay my Blue through BP and do 1 large charge a week. Kind of saves time for me actually, I just hope Amex will let me keep doing this
