I am at the Hilton London Metropole right now. I have been waiting for 5+ hours to have a room assigned to me. I was hoping for an early check in after an overnight flight, but we're now >3 hours after standard check in time. However, the reservation system is down and they are manually (and slowly) checking in guests. I've been told that this was a system wide problem when I asked to be walked to another Hilton. Is anybody out there experiencing similar issues?
Checked in at London Canary earlier about 4.30pm - took about 5 secs !
