I agree. It is quite akward to use an electronic boarding pass while simultaneously juggling a rollerbag and a 4 year old granddaughter.
I tried the electronic pass twice and could not see the benefit over paper.
It reminds me of the refrigerator with built-in internet access so you could keep tabs on your shopping list (remember those?). Technological overkill when a pencil and paper is easier and more reliable.
