I was shocked because it was less than Queens pricing and was a lowball price for Manhattan which is super expensive to stay at. They must have lots of vacancy for the summer and wanted to get some revenue for the rooms. Not sure if it would be available for that price on your dates but at least one day was showing the $99 price when I looked.
