According to UA Mainline Fleet website, there are no more of the v2 738's in service. That's the aircraft you were talking about.
21C is a good seat for legroom on all versions, except it has the thinner cushion being an exit row.
OK, so apparently the UA website showed a glitch this morning. It showed the v3 version seatmap but all of the blue coding for E+ was gone. That made the aircraft look like the old v2 version which is why I thought that is what it was. That version is gone and the remaining two types seem fine for seat 21C.
