There are many airlines I have not flown but would not consider flying due to their premium seating configuration or lack thereof (amongst other things). Would you not discount a sub-standard recliner style seat for a longhaul flight compared to a full lie flat?
I will wait for reports on the new seating (or when I end up on one) but you can't get away from the fact that there will be no difference in legroom between ET and CE.

I think my point was that the OP's comment seems to be they have tried exBMI seats which they don't like, assumed they are somehow indicative of what the new seats will be like, and decided not to BA SH anymore. I travel a fair bit on BA SH already and I am interested to see what these new seats will be like, but like you I am happy to wait and try them before I decide I don't like them and won't fly BA SH anymore.
