I'm working the spending requirement for an AA exec card for a 3rd party that only has $5k limit. It's coming down to the wire on getting the $10k spent before the statement date hits (tomorrow). I still have $56 to spend but only $2 available credit and $4998 worth of pending charges from yesterday that haven't gone through yet to let me make a payment and then spend that last bit.

Every time I call the AA Exec number it says that the card has no pre-set spending limit and any charges over the credit limit (if allowed) must be paid at the next statement. GREAT... but every time I try to spend over CL it gets denied, even just a $13 charge with $2 CL available.

Suggestions?? Definitely want to get the full $10k spent by tomorrow (preferably today) in order to secure the 100k bonus on this statement.
