Absolutely, Continental's lounges which became United's withdrew from accepting the Plat card shortly after United's merger but if you have a Priority Pass Prestige card issued to non-US AMEX cardholders, you certainly can use all of United's lounges... Yes, with PP you can use the United lounge regardless of airline flown... I do that often.
