I think Phil the Flyer was right to add the link to the older/previously discussed thread.

In general links can often give an insight into others views, experiences or in this case membership numbers, be beneficial or maybe find a nugget of knowledge, sometimes.

In that older linked thread the first post below is by an ex BA Moderator and the latter from a long time member of FT:
