Not really - it's between t-storm season and frozen precip season. That's our "cool and damp" season but nothing seriously bad will happen for weeks. We had one 10/31 snowstorm once, a few years back, and the ground was so warm that nothing stuck to pavement (even with multiple inches on grass). I guess you could get a late season hurricane, but that's equally likely in CLT.

PHL is my home airport and I'm telling OP to go to CLT for all the other reasons. I don't know for immigration times though, but CLT is 10x nicer than PHL.
