For some unknown reason United changed my flight from "Geneva to LAX connecting @ EWR" to "Geneva to SFO, connecting at EWR". Landing at SFO is actually not the issue. The problem is that now my connection time in EWR has been cut to 1hr 40 minutes on a Sunday (land at EWR at 12:15pm, flight to SFO leaving at 1:55pm). I've never been to the Newark airport. Is 1 hr 40 min enough time to go through customs, get luggage, check it back in etc & make the SFO flight on time? There's 3 of us, all with checked baggage, flying in the front of Econ Plus, which hopefully will help a bit time wise. Thanks for your input.
