Frenchman's Reef is an excellent property but the staff and management there are horrible. Don't believe me? Just point your browser to the Marriott Insider forum and read the many sour reviews about the staff and management at that property. If you have any status with Marriott, don't expect ANY SORT of acknowledgment or appreciation. My wife and I just returned from a three-night stay at the FR and other than the complimentary upgrade to the Governor's Suite upon check-in, the interaction with the property staff/management SUCKED! If I ever go back to St Thomas, I'll pay the extra $$$ and stay in a broom closet at the Ritz vs a suite at The Frenchman's Reef. Good luck!
