Happened to me one on a return from PRG (A319). I was in 1C, they asked the person in 1A what meal they wanted, made a note and proceeded to start serving from the back.

I was annoyed they didn't ask me because out of the two options presented only one appealed to me. When both options sound good I've often told the crew I'm happy with either so they can give someone else their first choice, but this was an instance where one option to me was better than the other.

Fortunately when they reached the front row they still had my preferred option and service from that point on was more reasonable. As I got my first choice I decided a complaint would have been unreasonable.

I still can't see why they would start at the back and also why 1A was asked in advance and myself in 1C not asked. Surely I couldn't have been on a flight where everyone else in CE was GGL so they decided as a mere gold I deserved to be served last.
