I have had problems with the Jr when using the customs kiosks when re-entering the US. I always get the black X across the picture which means I have to go see an agent. My most recent return last month through IAH, the agent told me I would always get the X as a result of Jr; thus, I will always have to go see an agent. I have a Jr and have no issue with GE kiosks. Or so far TSA Pre-Check. Although DL screwed up one of my tickets I had to book by phone. Hopefully that won't be an issue.
I will say that my DL.com profile has Jr but the secure flight info section does not list Jr. Have never had an issue. I have 1 intl itin with Jr (I was able to book it online) and I have 1 intl itin without Jr (booked via phone). Guess I'll find out later this year if that's an issue.
And add to that I'll have a new passport. Fun!
