Could be either:
- Lazy CSD thinks it's easier to run back to the gallery for top-ups if he is working back to front
- No high value Golds in the front rows, so it doesn't make much difference to anyone
- Wants to serve the VIP first
Thanks for confirming. That's what I thought.
To add some other facts: I originally sat in 2A but moved back to row 7D to have more space.
The service seemed a bit slow to me and I heard some people sitting on the right side of the cabin (J/K) complaining that service was slow. I noticed that the guy in 7J got his food almost 2 hours after take off.
Cabin crew was really friendly and helpful, but I was just surprised that service was starting from the back.
