I was very surprised to see that service started from the back if the cabin, ie from 9A/C up to 2A/C and then from 2J/K down to 9J/K

Is this standard practice? I always thought that service was from the front to the back of the plane?

Also, we had a celebrity sitting in 8A. Would that explain why service started from the back of the cabin?
This is quite normal I've had it on BA, AA, EY, US and LH, on the way out the service is front first and then on the return leg, back first, so nowt to worry about.
