I just learned about the
ABC Premier Privileges program from a colleague. Looks to be a good possibility for some 4* and 5* hotels that are not part of Virtuoso or FHR.
You can research participating hotels and amenities
on their website. A little clunky, but it can get the job done. Just click the "Are you looking for Premier Privileges Hotels" box to bring up only those hotels.
Then, click on the "Details" link. Within that page, the "Amenities" tab will let you know if breakfast is included in the ABC rate, and the "Premier Privileges" tab will list the amenities. So far, seems to be fairly standard:
- High Speed Internet
- Welcome amenity
- Upgrade (if available)
Some examples of their hotels:
Rome - Hotel Splendide Royal
London - Charlotte Street, Covent Garden, Dorset Square, Eccleston Square, Ham Yard, Haymarket, Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, Knightsbridge Hotel, La Suite West, Millennium Baileys Hotel, Number Sixteen, One Aldwych, The Royal Horseguards, The Royal Park, The Savoy, The Soho Hotel, Town Hall Hotel
Paris - Hotel Bel Ami, Hotel de Nell, La Maison Champs Elysees, Raffles Royal Monceau, Hotel Sezz
New York - Gramercy Park, Hotel Americano, The Pierre
Hong Kong - The Mira Hong Kong, Mira Moon
Some decent values here. For instance, the ABC rate for Splendide Royale in Rome was discounted 8% from the BAR and included breakfast (which the BAR did not) and the other aforementioned amenities.
