It may not have been specifically stated in your discussions re: upgrading, etc… but one can pretty much assume that with any loyalty program benefit, be it first/business class seats, suite upgrades, early check in - you name it, it is "subject to availability" As much as Hyatt may appreciate our loyalty, our loyalty isn't going to trump someone willing to pay the full rate to stay in an Ocean Suite.
