When minors travel without either or both parents, some jurisdictions require a (notarized) statement that they have the parents' permission to travel. It's also wise to give a medical power of attorney so that emergency health care can be authorized. I would expect increased attention to minors traveling without parents due to recent publicity regarding trafficking of children.
Kids are 9 and 12. This is a domestic booking so I was hoping to avoid too much hassle! Waiting on the BAEC hold queue for the definitive answer just now, but I know that FT may be more useful in terms of the info I get without having to hang up and speak to several agents
