FOR BENEFIT OF ALL CANADIANS!

When they slash the jobs, it helps their shareholders. It does not help us because they are not going to lower the price. It does not help the people they just fired, though they are welcome to be rehired at rouge. Or maybe they will just move them to new planes. Less work or onto new capacity so no need to hire a new job. Even so, that helps no Canadians, and not us.

So Air Canada's argument vs. Emirates is NO NET BENEFIT TO CANADIANS. But it's own actions when they do these things are NO NET BENEFIT TO CANADIANS.

I hereby dismiss NO NET BENEFIT TO CANADIANS as anything that should ever come out of an Air Canada rep's mouth. They can't reduce jobs, convert them to low paying poverty jobs, and then talk about what benefits Canadians. That same Canadian could go and get a job on Emirates because they speak French, and earn a better living than at Rouge.
