Good to know - No icon for subway actually makes it easier (since the train icon resembles a subway icon)

Thanks!

So I can take that B bus just under my hotel directly into Brooklyn.

Thanks - just copied that into my Google Drive NYC shopping doc.

Glad to hear the transfer to ACE is upstairs too.. (Someone put a ladder down on my foot. Healing broken bone in front part of left foot makes walking DOWN stairs kind of painful. I try to land more on my left heel when walking down stairs. But landing on heel vs front of foot is actually difficult to do when walking downstairs (try it!).

But walking upstairs is fine.

I realize I'll need to walk downstairs to start the trip at F Delancey st... I've never seen an elevator around to enter a subway with.

But at the beginning of the trip I'll be more likely to pay attention and try to do the right thing (step more on my left heel) vs when making a transfer.

In general that's another reason why I'm trying to plan the bus more than subway. Plus I get to see the sights. But subways are so time efficient...

Got it. Thanks for the reminder.

On my first trip to NYC I carefully researched all addresses, but then the taxi drivers would frustrate me by asking for cross street. Finally I said, "I'm not a taxi driver. How am I supposed to know the cross streets?"

OK.
