Its a little misleading in that:
The US and Europe already allow 1 FA per 50 passengers.
TC has already approved 1 FA per 50 in 737s allowing WS & WG to operate at that ratio.

My last flight YVR-YUL, we had to wait for an additional FA to finish boarding and push back. I spoke to the SD as to why during the flight. Many people got transferred to this flight due to delays of inbound aircraft from Asia and they had too many passengers for the number of crew. Took 25 minutes for the FA to get to the aircraft, then finish boarding (she was on her way to another flight and got 'diverted' to our flight while she was driving to the airport). Had the A320 been certified by TC like a 737, we could have completed boarding and pushed back on time.
