The 1-2 seating and minimal headroom seemed to me to be carrying things too far but I convinced myself that the ERJ-135 is the airliner equivalent of a sports car. It still is.
^ Yep! No one buys a sports cars for its comfort!
I still like flying into DCA on a CRJ vs narrow body jet, it just feels more "fun"
Although, other times I feel like the CRJ100/200 is more like a school bus with wings vs. being an airplane.
