Note this fare works even if these cities are your destination. Just booked YYZ-VIE in September, with a 4h connection in CDG on the outbound. Return is nonstop OS codeshare. Ticketed in P at $2492. In comparison, the price for both legs nonstop is $3252 for U (economy) or $8032 for Z (business).

I hate CDG, but I'll put up with it to save $5500!
