Why were you rude, Fanjet? Of course there are "many millions of AAdvantage members looking for award availability at any given time." I'm sure Soulag, and everyone else on this talk board knows that.
The question Soulag asked is why availability is skewed without apparent explanation by holidays or time of year or week.
In any case, when someone with little FT experience poses a legitimate question about how to navigate the AA FF system, being rude and responding to the person as if they are an idiot should result in some self-reflection. There's no excuse for it.
Oh please! These threads pop-up with such reliability. Tell me, do you believe that AA has loaded several F saver award inventory on a specific date from LAX-LHR when they only have 8 F seats on their plane? And more importantly, they are not "skewed" without an apparent explanation. All it takes is looking at a physical calendar. The fact that a lot of dates don't have saver award inventory available doesn't necessarily mean that none were ever loaded into the system. But that what was loaded has already been taken up by a few of the millions of AAdvantage members, as well as those of OW partner airlines.
