I left DL, cold turkey after 750K miles in 6 years, and never head a peep.
I left CO/UA after 1MM in 10 years just over a year ago...and again, not a word.
Interesting way to run a business.
When I left UA? Not a word either.
The only airline that ever reached out to me was US. I was a CP last year, but in September had barely flown 25k miles. Mostly due to budget cuts at work. US sent me an email, said they noticed I haven't been flying much, and offered me a promo to get me to fly more. It worked. I booked some more trips, and I ended up requalifying for Chairman again by the end of the year.
It worked out well for both of us. US got some more trips and money out of me. I got to keep my status another year. Win-Win.
