I used to think that M34 was a metro (subway) line because of the M.
But "M" means bus, right?

I guess the easy answer is if
- the line starts with a M, it's a bus
- if it has the little bus icon in front of it
(which on fast glance resembles a subway icon)

I always plan subway (fastest) routes, and then I will probably end out taking the bus or taxi because I like seeing the sights vs going underground when not at home.
