T-Dub, all the way. As a former TWA flyer I recall with fondness the courtesies and professionalism they exhibited, alas, much of that gone by the wayside due to changing times. But, I miss them(and TWA)-still have my lifetime Ambassadors Club card.

Re the matter of length of time passed: some things just take gobs of time-e.g. a certain EEOC matter is finally reaching resolution after 25 years-imagine, quarter-century and still at it. Have to admire the "stick to it(iveness)" of such folk.
