Whatever you do, do NOT let a LH M&M number come anywhere near a LH/LX/OS flight you plan to credit to EB later. It is impossible to remove later. Even a blank M&M card (i.e. only listed as being M&M basic, with no number) cannot be removed on LH's "Manage My Booking" or during check-in, only by manual overriding.
