Charging for luggage? Did I miss anything?
Hello fellow users,
haven't used Aegean for a while but had great experiences from my previous flights and always recommended it to my friends and family whenever travelling to Greece.
While planning an upcoming trip I stumbled upon their website which now states that passengers traveling on "GoLight" have to pay additional money in order to check-in a piece of luggage.
When did this happen? Most important, who thought it was a good idea? I always chose Aegean over the lowcost airlines operating in the area, but what's the point now that the only difference between them and any random Ryanair or Easyjet is a meal and a small bottle of wine, offered at twice the price? Didn't they think about the horders of backpackers, island-hopping around?
Not to mention the madness of asking a passenger coming over from another continent on a codeshare flight to pay additional money as a welcome to Greece?
