It seems if you book V or higher, you can choose your seat ahead of time, the website is just broke. I was able to call in and get an assignment.
3,4 Great, so I have to go through customs but they don't need to look at my checked bag
5 According the LH website, there seems to be 4 SEN lounge and 2 LH biz lounges. I guess I'll just pick whatever is closest
