It's not unknown for people to take intentional actions against one's own side for provocation purposes to make it seem as thought the other side started it.
It is not unknown for people to completely make things up and to lie through their teeth either

The military has been quite clear about the role of dissent and free discussion under the current rules. That people are taking them seriously is a change IMO.
They don't have a choice do they ?
The rule is no longer that any rule or law can be broken if the offender is willing to pay off the police. The police are now under the military government and things are run much more by the book, even if still not 100%. Definitely a change and an improvement.
The Royal Thai Army is a criminal organization , completely above law , rotten to the core by corruption , and pathetically incompetent . Now you tell me these people are going to do away with a corrupt system ?
