Not sure if that's per person or total booking, but as a general rule if you see a price that you like, best grab it (and don't look again!). But if that's per person the lower price for 10 days is indeed good value, depending on the hotel.
Was €2200 per person in the Intercontinental Times Square. Which makes not booking so much worse!

The various sale times are normally the best time to buy, historically the next is likely to be around the end of August, although as your pricing in EUR this may not be the case as the sale is normally ex-UK only.
Where are you flying from?
I would keep an eye on the Sale thread on here and when you see that things are on sale from your destination jump in.
Flying out of Dublin, but could easily overnight with relatives beside LHR if fares from the UK worked out cheaper at the time of booking.
Will keep an eye on the BA sales and also maybe the hotel sales? As I noticed there was a 3rd or 4th night free promotion when I first checked fares which might have given some sort of discount
