Just curious - Why is that?
Some players won't play higher bit-rate content. 256kbps is definitely no-good, 192 may be iffy, but 128 is pretty safe as far as mp3 compatibility goes. Also might want to use dos file names (8 characters plus mp3 extension). It's hard to know what any random rental will do, so a very basic set common denominator of features makes sense.
