I assume that they'll refund any upgrade fees / miles / or points as dom F is pretty much Intl C-. Be thankful that there was another plane to swap in. Sometimes they go the other way. My last swap went from a 737 with 16F to a 737 with 20F, and I was 3rd on the list, so my upgrade cleared.

as refunds of any sort (miles, upgrade certs and cash) can either be a seamless piece of cake or a bear and half to get the refund where one has to jump thru needless time wasting hoops
