That's why I said if there isn't a language barrier. Nobody ever complains because they're probably dealing with mostly domestic cards and the few times they do deal with it people are ignorant to the fact that they're getting ripped off. I don't care if the line behind me has a million other people behind or if I'm being the ugly American. I'm not going to waver on principle, and I will get it through the merchant's/cashier's head that they can expect to see a dispute if they try to cheat me.
