OP - tight but don't worry...

For an ORD-JFK-BCN connection AA to AA at JFK 1:20 is short but fine ---

--- There is NO passport, customs, immigrations and you check bags they go directly from ORD to BCN without reclaim in New York

--- There is also no NO additional security screening to connect in JFK -- you arrive airside and go directly to your gate without passing security.

-- You probably have at least 30 minutes cushion. I believe for an international flight (i.e. - JFK-BCN) you need to be at the gate 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure to ensure you don't get bumped.
