I assume your trip after the new DPS Terminal opened ? What lounge did they send you to ? There was a lounge in the basement which is a bit of a dungeon and one upstairs with runway views, that was not so bad (both, were in the old Terminal).
Did you have a glass of wine on the flight and was it nice ? After a couple of weeks of Bintang, always looking forward to a nice wine.

I can't recall what lounge it was. I remember after going through Duty Free I turned right and went down to about gate six or so. It was one the same level as the rest of the departure gates.
It was a pretty ordinary lounge. Had wifi, some very average food and comp beer and wine. It was good enough to sit down for an hour but nothing I would write home about.
I don't drink on flights, but the staff did load me full of food and desert. I can't complain about the service on VA - has always been very good to me. On most of the Domestic J flights I've taken this past year there has only been 2 or 3 other pax in J so I find the FA's very attentive.
