Main reason why I want to use CDs instead of audio cables - simplicity and safety.
With a CD, the controls are easier and safer to get to than with my smartphone.
With a CD, I don't need to toggle out of Google Maps directions to go to next track when driving in an unfamiliar place.
I only look at my smart phone for other than directions if my foot is on the brake and car is stopped.

AnalogMan>> MP3 seems more compatible than WMAs, but you will probably want to limit bit rate to 128k to be safe.
Just curious - Why is that?
