I just got off a YYZ-YVR flight and the incharge FA (Jeff) was simply wonderful. He really made the flight a lot more enjoyable.
He was greeting everyone at the door of the aircraft, addressing everyone by name according to their BPs and wishing everyone a great flight.
He was working J on this particular flight. He came around, addressed everyone by name once again and introduced himself to everyone while taking drink orders.
Lunch service was very good. Crab cake appetizer, choice of Salmon with pasta, beef with rice or tortellini. There was an elderly couple in front of me who couldn't decide what wine to choose, the incharge came out with all the wines and gave them like a tasting session and let them decide. Wow!
There were only 2 FAs working J on the 763 as it wasn't full. They were quite busy between cooking and serving but they were never stressed out as the incharge kept on helping out the other FA.
Cookies and ice cream were served afterwards and it seems like there were an endless supply of cookies and everyone were offered more if they wanted.
Both FA in J then came around at the end of the flight to thank everyone for flying AC and asked whether there was anything the crew could have done better.
So a very good flight overall. The in charge really did took the lead and made the flight very relaxing to work on.
Well done.
