This is my 2nd stay at this hotel (1st was back in 2011 or so, when being Gold). Booked a standard room on points for three nights. On arrival I was assigned to a room looking at the entrance area. According to the floor plan it is one of the smaller rooms. Receptionist says hotel is full, so no room with view to the Adria and old town is available. However they found us a room for tomorrow in the identical category but with sea view. I'll go for it and swap rooms then.
What strikes me most is that we are not allowed to have breakfast in the restaurant but in the EL only. This looks as if all the downgrading Diamond amenities and devaluing perks has arrived at this beautiful place, too.
