I think it's a bad move, it gives anyone who sees it the chance to view (depending on the airline):
-Full legal name
-Frequent flyer number
-Itinerary
-Seat assignment
-Price you paid for the ticket
-Last 4 digits of the card used to pay for the ticket
-The ability to cancel/change your flight
I wouldn't post all of that information on social media, therefore I try to hide all personally identifiable information (other than my name) on any boarding passes I post.
Everyone's favorite Kickstarterer had an unknown person go in and cancel a bunch of his flights a few years back simply from Ben posting when he'd be traveling and what airline.
I had forgotten about Ben's incidents! And that was without even having the actual FF numbers. I recall he eventually got it straightened out, but not without a lot of time, hassle, and disruption. I think, but could be remembering wrong, that he discovered it when going to OLCI and had to either book a last-minute ticket or postpone the trip.
