Just bumping this thread to see if I can get any advice. PD the flights could also be UIO-MAD-CMN or GYE-MAD-CMN.

At this point it looks like the best option is to purchase LAN flights and use the 80k kms to upgrade but I think that would only get me to MAD as I don't see that LAN has any code share flights MAD to Morocco.

I know that AA/BA/IB now have a scheme whereby you can upgrade on any of the three but I guess LAN has not yet made such an agreement even with the IB/LA codeshares. Am I right?
