2 years ago when I bought my current car I talked the dealer in to letting me put the $18K I was putting down on my standard Platinum. At that point I probably could have talked him into letting me put the other $40somethingK on there if I wanted to. This was a BMW dealership but the same company owned the MB dealer right next door.
